Alternative forms of supervision

Cultural Supervision: is a crucial aspect of cultural accountability and development. Within the supervisory relationship, all cultural objectives are acknowledged and explored. Our services are provided using methods that are pertinent, effective, and attentive to cultural differences. We offer training and consulting services focused on cultural competency, helping organisations better serve Māori communities and integrate Te Ao Māori principles into their practices.

Group Supervision: This type of supervision involves a single supervisor with multiple participants, beneficial in situations with numerous staff and few trained supervisors, which may be preferred by participants. We expand your services to include community development initiatives, fostering collaborative projects that benefit Māori communities and promote social change.

Peer Supervision: This involves multiple participants alternating roles to provide supervision, recommended for experienced supervisees, and can be done alongside another form of supervision. We develop mentorship programs for emerging Māori leaders, providing guidance and support in their personal and professional journeys.

Open Door: This involves consultations for incidents or cases as needed.
